Felt is so great to work with. It doesn't fray, it comes in so many colors. It brings an odd sort of pleasure cutting out the little shapes and gluing, sewing and piecing them together. I haven't really been that into screen-printing.. I like the end product but there's not much art in just printing shirts. I'm REALLY going ga-ga over the felt pieces I've been creating. There is so much more art and creation involved. Each piece in unique too and has it's own personality.
I can't wait to show you all my new creations. I'm showing them to the public for the first time this week at Last Thursday on Alberta. (An art walk here in Portland, OR)
